NADFAS Heritage Volunteers help to conserve our heritage because conservation and preservation of our heritage place a tremendous burden on the limited professional resources available.
Beckenham Decorative and Fines Arts Society makes a contribution to this vital work by supporting a number of projects and currently 22 members of BDFAS are supporting 27 volunteer posts.
If you would like to help preserve and promote our National Heritage we can introduce you several options and you will meet many interesting people and all our volunteers enjoy themselves sufficiently to go back year after year. At the moment we have:

Individuals trained to welcome visitors to various museum galleries, explain the displays and exhibits and answer questions

|
Teams conserving books, priceless letters, historical documents, photographs and artefacts:

Some locations need more volunteers now and new projects are launched every year so we are confident we will be able to match your interests. The custodians at the various sites organise training and most pay travel expenses and provide refreshments, NADFAS arranges insurance.
