MADRID ~ 15 to 19 OCTOBER 2012
Our customary autumn tour this year is to Madrid, home of some of the most
prestigious
art galleries in the world and a lively and sophisticated city in its own
right.
Our five day itinerary will include visits to the galleries followed by a day in
Toledo, Spain’s former capital, and a visit to El Escorial and the Valle de Los Caidos.
We shall stay in a central four star hotel, convenient for city strolls, and we will
be
guided throughout by Mauricio Macarron Larumbe, a local lecturer much enjoyed
by
NADFAS groups.
The basic tour price is £795 and the additional cost of the proposed EasyJet flight
will be confirmed once the number of participants is known. There is already considerable
interest in this visit so those interested are advised to book without delay. The
closing date for applications is 30 March 2012.
